Zachary Broadhurst: 4/13-5/12

Dallas artist Zachary Broadhurst shows a recent body of works entitled New Fine Art. The exhibit runs from 14 April - 12 May. Reception Saturday 4/16, 7-9 pm.

Broadhurst’s exhibit is a collection of recent paintings and photographs which are related to one another through various interpretations and aesthetic treatments of type face. The work explores themes of the illusion of protection and vulnerability.

Broadhurst is a Tyler, Texas native who attended Tyler Junior College with a emphasis on painting, drawing, design, sculpture, printmaking and photography. In 1998, Broadhurst moved to Dallas and pursued work with musician Tim Ferrell through Frequency Development Center and Moontunes, a warehouse co-op which showcased experimental electronic music.
